Ho'd a Big dog to cheer myself up a bit...
M*nchesterGolfer said: Well today I went to Nevada Bob's and Ho'd (ordered) myself a Cobra Speed Pro D 9.5 degrees with the Aldila VS Proto shaft. I've never seen the D in the flesh but I've Demo'd the S and that looks classy but I don't like Fuji shafts and the face was a little shallow, so hopefully the D will fit the bill as I like deeper faced drivers and love the VS Proto, it looks great on Cobras website. King Cobra Speed Pro D Details I'm gonna sell the FT5 Tour not that anything is wrong with it but I'm a little depressed of late so thought a change of big dog may perk my up a little.

The Speed Pro's are a lot more traditional shaped than any of the other Speed series with only small dents. The Speed D is almost 905R shaped from what I've seen & the Vs Proto shaft is a great engine room.

Nice idea, I replace my wedges a lot though, so I'll Send my Scotty off over the winter for a custom job at the studio, thanks. :)

At the start of the year (as a Christmas present to myself) I had them add sight lines to the flange and stamp my initials on the face.Attachment 4172
M*nchesterGolfer said: Looks sweet. I'm thinking 2 aditional sight lines and my Mum's name around the back arc. Will look into it nearer winter when I can send it away for a while.
S*ndpiper3 said: That is the nicest driver ever I swear, absolutely amazing. I also agree with your comments on the S vs the D, the D is much better looking with the deeper face and i like the VS proto wayyyy better as well. Great pickup MG.
