1 iron replacement advice
J*stin Uthadude said: I need something between my driver (250-270) and my 3 iron (200). I like long irons, but my 2 iron only goes about 220. When faced with a short, skinny 360yd par four where I can't use driver, I usually hit something like 3 iron/7 iron. I want something that will go 230-240, leaving me with an 8/9 iron. I'm trying a cleveland 5 wood and an Adams 2H, but I don't seem to hit either one very well. In fact, the hybrid hooks like hell. I'm left-handed, so demos are almost non-existent. Any ideas?

And with the right shaft, an amazing club. Based on what you are saying, I would fit it with a Proforce V2 shaft. They have a nice variety of shafts, with differing butt/mid/tip flexes. That would be a long and straight combo.

A hybrid probably wont give you the distance you want so the other option would be a wood. You could go to any golf superstore, golf galaxy, golfsmith at last resort dicks, and you would be able to demo at least some of their clubs.

When I swing it like my driver (it looks the same, just a little smaller) I get great results and it filled the yardage gap I had betwen my driver and 3 iron. I've since seen the light and dropped the 3 and 4 irons in favor of hybrids good luck!
