Which shaft for my TEE
VtD*vot said: My beater TEE should arrive sometime this week, and although I might like the Fuji HL that is the stock I am thinking I might want to pick something else up just in case. I'm not an expert so I'm looking for help. I play the YS-6 in my driver and really like it. I am looking for something with some kick that gets the ball up but is stable and not hook prone. I considered getting another YS-6 and having it tipped a bit or something to firm it up. Recommendations?
R*ckinMA said: I didn't think the TEEs were bore-thru - if that's the case, I think you'd need to tip the YS-6 quite a bit to get the same performance/feel. others here are certainly better at this than I am - but, how about an NVS? or one of those $15 RP Saber high launch shafts from golfworks?

w*rbirdlover said: VS Proto is the best bang for the buck. I would say the Diamana Blueboard is the best bang. After those two I'd really go with the YS-6+. I sure love the YS-7+fw in my 3-wood. But if you haven't hit a VS Proto you are really missing something. :D

Tis you my friend that missed something... I just saw a Creation 80-S and the dude dropped it to $110. I bet it's gone now though.

VtD*vot said: The finalists... YS-7+ Purple Ice Pershing ... notice a pattern here? and the redboard. I'd characterise my swing as a quickish tempo but still more of a swinger than a hitter. This is about as hard as I go at it and I think I top out at about 105 mph with the driver. Putfile - DivotSwing The shaft I need has to be lively but stable, no crazy tour stiff stuff for me. Am I missing anything that needs to be added to the list?
w*rbirdlover said: YS-7+fw is fantastic. Would be perfect for your swing. Especially since the YS-6+ works well for you in your driver. :D
g*nning4u said: I have a NVS-75g in my Tee and almost wish I went heavier its only at a D1 swing weight. My driver is D3 and my hybrid is also D3 so the fairway feels a little light I guess an easy fix would be to add some lead tape. If I did it again would have gone with an 85g.
