Is 907D2 longer than 905R
hyp*rgolf said: Which is longer assuming both club heads have Proforce V2 Stiff in it. Thanks.

He was the lowest handicaper golfer in Britain when he was a wee yougster. His handicap has ranged from his higest as a school boy of 6 to +5 when he was playing for England. He is now into his 50's (current handicap 1.8) & this season switched to the D1 from the R & for the 1st time ever he can now drive our 274 yard par 4 15th. (which I made an eagle 2 on, on Saturday, btw. :) ). He's never been a long player but his short game IS superb. When he plays inter club, county or Country match play events, every body (who doesn't know him) under estimates him as they knock it 20 - 60 yrds past him but then they see him hit his irons into 6 feet and less all the way round, superb!!! :) All that said I'm sticking with my FT5 Tour as it's the best driver I've ever had

I will agree with manchester though, I've hit the 907 D1 and that thing is straight and far. I love the 905R though, great shaft combo as well. As for distance gain over my previous TM R5 Dual, not sure if I gained any at all considering my R5 had a 65g shaft and was regular flex. The V2 shaft's that came factory installed on the 905R and 907 D2 are all 76g (not sure why the V2 is the only one with such a heavy shaft out of the others, YS-6+, etc...) But the one thing that is keeping the 905R in the bag is the accuracy I am getting from it. Probably due to the heavier shaft.
