Str*der said: i was wondering if any of you guys have any experience with this shaft and how you felt about it. looking at buying a new driver but it comes with this shaft. i'll give it a try, but was curious is anyone else has used it.
*rishGolfer said: Great shaft I had mine in a 983K. The guy who put it in was good to point out that it would play slightly stiffer. Great trajectory and distance with loads of feel. Now why the hell did I give that driver away?
hyp*rgolf said: I am currently using stiff :smilie_fu Platform 26.3 on my X Tour fairway wood that came as a stock shaft. They have great feel especially with the bore through design of my club. However, I wish they were in the region of 75 grams for fairways... I did gain quite a bit of distance thought. I think they would play slightly less stiff on a non bore through heads. I think it would be great for driver heads rather than the fairway woods. Overall I would give 7/10 for this shaft.

Yeah, bore thru stiffens it up a tad, not too stiff tho. For me it was an excellent shaft / head combo for my swing (~100mph). It gave me a bit more trajectory. Was and Gave - past tense :(
fl*marilius said: It is very stiff and hard to load the shaft. I have the stiff flex and I honestly think it plays to an X. I cant load the shaft in my backswing and my driving distance has suffered poorly. I can whip the club around 105 and still just cant load this shaft. I dont know how it plays on different heads but on the Nike SQ its a no go.

Lyl*G said: They are a very nice shaft in a bore through head like the Cally X460 tour. If you are putting one in a non bore thorugh head I recommend tipping 1 inch or it will be very tip soft.

I had the Titty 983K reshafted at Golfer's Warehouse in CT (while travelling). The dude listened to my "tales of woe" and had no hesitation in recommending the 26.3. He also gave me an outstanding deal on it (long story). I was impressed. Don't think it was tipped. Actually come to think of it my Sonartec SS2.5 3 wood has a OEM version of the 26.3 in it and it doesn't feel like the same deal at all. It's nice but I would consider swapping it out (maybe for an evolution or a Limey). Perhaps because it is non bore thu, dunno??? (or because I'm a 'HO!!! )
W*st Coast Duffer said: I know this is an older thread but I just got a Cally Ft-5 with the Fuji Tour 26.3 Stiff shaft in it and was wondering if anybody has tried this combination. I played a full 18 and been to the range a couple of times with it and still feel a little inconsistent with it. Should I give it more time or ditch it. Swing speed is high 90's sometimes 100 with a fast tempo. Im not to familiar with shaft so any recommendations would be great. Thanks
