*altim said: I am down to $29.99 that I spent on the Tour Edge Carbon 7 Wood (new in plastic, no less). It was up a bit but the R5TP. weight kit, and Red X2 are more than 31 days out now.

L*l_Huth said: Im at $57.46 for globalgolf and $0.00 for ebay. That is the last month. Wont be spending another cent until I decide on a new driver and new irons. Then it will be sickening to even think about...:(

I found a 3W and 5W locally last January and could not miss with them. When I went back to pick up the 7W, they were all out as the model had dicontinued. I played the 3w and 5W until I found a good deal on an Exotic 3W and tried a long list of hybrids to replace the 5W. None of them worked as well as the Carbon 5W. 5W back in the bag, found the 7W on the bay, and now I am happy again with the top end of my bag. The Carbons have a very forgiving design that allows you to use it from just about any lie. The rounded sole allows you to use it out of the rough without the high drag that most FW's have with a more squared off profile. Even the stock Fuji shaft seems to work well in the design. I hated the stock Fuji in the TEE's, but the Fuji works brilliantly fir me in the Carbon head. The only downside is if the shaft does not work for you. With the carbon bonded head, it is very easy to debond the carbon while heating the hosel to remove the stock shaft. You would have to cut and drill out the hosel if you did not want to risk damaging the head rendering the old shaft unusable. For $29 new, how can you go wrong?
t*ofless said: Just won the Strong 3 -wood (13* yikes) for $19.99 plus $15 shipping. 13* is awfully close to hitting a driver off the deck, I hope I can hit it. We shall see.
P*llmeister said: I didnt buy anything golf wise for close to 3 months. Then in the last 2 weeks I bought a fake Tm Sq( got money back), and then got a Hibore XL and a Mizuno Fli hi clk hybrid. I also sold a Geek DCT, FS and a Vokey 60 wedge. Total spending - stuff sold = probably less than $100. But the last thing I needed was another driver. Unless the Hibore Xl blows me away I'll probably just sell it in spring.
Th* master said: I haven't bough anything in nearly a year of eBay though that may change in the up coming weeks as I am looking to splash out on a new set of irons and putter.

P* Jayhawk said: $0.00 In the last 3 1/2 years I had only one purchase, and spent like $30 on 10 dog toys because my dog was about to need therapy and wouldn't play with any of the replacements we bought him. Ordered 10 of the darn things that were identical IMO, and my dog decide he liked one of his 3 year old toys better once they arrived. Or as my wife said "He can smell a knockoff" Outside of my first purchase, I don't think I've spent $402 in the 8 years I've been on Ebay.
