Penley shafts

L*l_Huth said: Soooooo, anyone here ever hit any Penley Shafts? I was looking at TM 425s on ebay and a decent amount have Penley shafts in them, they any good?

L*ftyHoges said: I've hit a Penley shaft in my mates driver. I believe it was a Penley Stealth 70g in Stiff. He's right handed and i'm a lefty but have been dabbling in turning righty. Anyhow, I hit my drive one bounce into a bunker with the lefty, picked up his club and blew it over the bunker on the fly with the righty. In my opinion they are an excellent shaft and any club with one in it would well be worth buying if the shaft suits your swing. Unfortunately they do not suit my left handed swing, but if they did I'd probably be playing one.

*ces-5 said: I have never hit a Penley shaft that I didn't like. In fact, I have a set TM MB blades with a set of Penley Stealth 85 shafts in them and they are fantastic. Penley just don't have the "luster" behind their name like other shaft manufactureres.

*altim said: I have a Penley Stealth in one of my drivers and love it. As a matter of fact, I am probably going to pull it this week and put it into my Killer Bee B-Long driver head for a test run. I found the Stealth to be a lower launching shaft with good feel. They can be had fairly cheaply now, and if it was not for Rock sending me his NV pulls for a steal, they would probably be in more than one of my drivers.

cyb*rious said: Good shafts, Nice price. For a long time they were favored by many of the long drive guys and were also use by Daly. They do tend to play a little stiff. I have heard that they have gone out of business though. If you notice a lot of places are selling them at closeout prices so get them now.
